1. Avatan is the largest nudist club in Minnesota.
 We have over 250 members. We are the second largest
 ANNR nudist club in the Midwest region.  We are
 a 100% club member of the American Association for
 Nude Recreation and AANR-Midwest.

2. Avatan is the fastest-growing club in Minnesota
 and one of the fastest-growing clubs in the Midwest. A
 single visit to Avatan will convince you that we are a
 special place.

3. Avatan has full-time caretakers to insure that
 safety, security and cleanliness is maintained
 at all times. Our caretakers are experienced full-time
 employees, with years of resort and camp know-how.

4. Avatan is situated in the middle of forty-beautiful
 acres of rolling hills and woods. We use some of
 our property to provide a buffer between ourselves and
 the general public but most of our activities take place
 in the center of our acreage. Surrounded by woodlands
 and wetlands, we don’t have to worry about people
 stumbling into our camp.

5. Avatan has 117 lots with a wide range of living
 units. As The Rake magazine said “Avatan is designed
 on a rational grid system” and all our lots have
 electrical, sewer and water service. We have three
 modern rental cabin units and a modern park model
 rental unit, for larger families. All of our eligible leased
 lots are currently occupied by members. We had over
 500 visitors in 2007!

6. Each weekend Avatan can accommodate almost
 50 visiting RV campers and tenters on modern
 sites, in addition to day visitors. Modern bathrooms
 and showers as well as a common cooking area and
 T.V. room are available for our guest.

7. Avatan has free ice, free fire wood, and free internet access.

8. All of Avatan’s events are free to our members
 and visitors. Poolside bingo, game nights, movies,
 dances and fireworks display are all free, as are our
 Quad dinners, poolside receptions and Fourth of July
 Pig Roast. We don’t charge for any of our activities
 once, you are on the grounds.

9. Avatan has one of the finest swimming pools
 complexes of any nudist club nationwide.
 Ninety-six swimmers can use our pool at any given
 time. Our in-ground hot tub is open 24/7 and kept at
 100 degrees. Our kiddy pool is designed for young
 children. The club has two Minnesota Certified Pool
 Operators available at all times to insure that our pools
 are maintained at the highest health and safety levels.
 Daily pool maintenance is performed by our
 experienced caretakers. The club has over 100 lounges
 and chairs on our pool deck so you can sit in the sun
 or under a shade tree and watch the activities.

10. Avatan is an active club. Each weekend
 something is happening for someone. Besides our
 swimming pools, the club has a full-sized billiard table,
 table tennis, kids’ playground equipment, petanque
 court, tetherball, and two volleyball courts. The pool is
 easily converted to a “pool volleyball court”. Each
 weekend you can find something that interests you,
 or just sit around the pool and chat with your friends
 (or nap). In the evening we have movies, dances,
 dinners and bon fires.
